Excavator mounted Stump Grinder - GXM350

The GXM350 excavator stump grinder is designed with high performance in mind for 1.5 to 4 ton excavators equipped with 8 to 40 gallons per minute of flow. It features 12 round carbide teeth packed in groups of 3. The high speed Teeth can be rotated for a fresh edge up to three times, letting you grind stumps 3 times longer. The concave shaped carbide tip of our High Speed Teeth provide aggressive cutting action by chipping the brush bit by bit. The high number of teeth means that each tooth needs to do less work. Each of the Stump Grinder teeth only need to make a small cut, because the work is shared by more of our rugged teeth they last longer and usually only require 2 or 3 replacements at a time. The bolt-on designed teeth allow for straightforward replacement. Heavy tooth population makes finer mulch and allows much smoother operation, while the blast shield with double row chain curtain ensures debris stays put.

The 19" rotor is powered by a bent axis piston motor, which provides ample stump grinding in virtually any location your excavator can reach. The extra-large blast shield provides maximum chip and debris control with a dual row of safety chain curtains. The massive 1" thick steel rotor provides the back bone for the Stump Grinder cutting system. It’s the anchor for the carbide tipped teeth. For smooth operation it’s important that the rotor remains solid, with no flexing. The rugged rotor also provides the Stump Grinder with the extra momentum needed when the grinding is tough, making sure the Stump Grinder can power through the hardest stumps. The GXM350 Baumalight stump grinder is offered with three motor options to best match your flow. A GXM350 with a motor of X508 having a PSI of 3000 can cut a stump of 24 inches in 25 mins at 12 GPM, whereas the same motor parameter and increased PSI of 4000 can cut a stump of 24 inches in 20 mins at 12 GPM. If the GPM is increased to 15, the time taken will be reduced.

HIGH SPEED TEETH

The concave shaped carbide tip of our High Speed Teeth provide aggressive cutting action by chipping the brush bit by bit. This round tooth is 3 teeth in 1. Simply loosen the lock nut and rotate the tooth to a fresh, sharp cutting edge. This can be done three times, extending the life of each tooth.

More Teeth

The high number of teeth means that each tooth needs to do less work. Each of the Stump Blasters teeth only need to make a small cut, because the work is shared by more of our rugged teeth they last longer and usually only require 2 or 3 replacements at a time. The bolt-on designed teeth allow for straightforward replacement.

Rotor

The massive 1" thick steel rotor provides the back bone for the Stump Blaster cutting system. It’s the anchor for the carbide tipped teeth. For smooth operation it’s important that the rotor remains solid, with no flexing. The rugged rotor also provides the Stump Blaster with the extra momentum needed when the grinding is tough, making sure the Stump Blaster can power through the hardest stumps.

More Clearance

The Stump Blaster’s carbide teeth extend a full 1-¼ inches from the rotor. This prevents chips and mulch from getting plugged. More chip clearing produces smoother operation and reduces heat build-up that can damage the rotor and cause premature tooth failure.

Blast Shield

The extra-large blast shield provides maximum chip and debris control with a dual row of safety chain curtains. The blast shield can also be used for cleanup and back filling without getting out of your cab.
